I hosted children from 0-8 years old through Safe families for children. It is a volunteer program that helps families who may not have anyone else to help. The children came to live with us full time until the parents were able to take the home. I remained in contact with the families the entire time. I also have worked in our church’s childcare program either as an infant caregiver or a preschool teacher.
