I worked at Paul B. Stevens for adults with autism. This was truly a humbling experience but could be difficult at times. I learned how to treat each person when they were upset, without an appetite, or harming themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One day I was babysitting, and I had brought water-balloons, chalk, and a slip-n-slide toy. It was such a heart-warming time, and the kids had a blast!
