Hi! I am a Denver native and certified teacher passionate about nurturing each child to reach their fullest potential. I have 12+ years experience in caring for children of all ages and about 3 years of serious, single-family nannying, primarily for infants/toddlers. I'm a former classroom teacher & am happy to do tutoring/homework help. Open to children with medical or special needs, travel, flexible hours, and pets of all kinds.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, doing crafts, and playing endless fetch with my dog. I speak Hebrew and some Arabic, and enjoy dabbling in other languages as well!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nannied full-time for an infant girl (2024-present) from age 4-18+ months. She will be starting preschool at the end of January, so I will be looking for a new position starting in February or beyond.
Nannied part-time for an infant girl (2024) from about age 4-10 months when she started full-time daycare. Also nannied for an infant boy (2019-20) from age 6-12 months, stopped due to Covid lockdowns. 12+ years of babysitting experience for kids of all ages.

Certified teacher (math, grades 5-8) and formerly taught in an inner-city public school. Experienced with multilingual learners and students with mild to moderate disabilities.

My experience with special needs children...

As a former classroom teacher (general ed + math intervention), I have experience with students with mild to moderate disabilities in an integrated classroom setting. About 50% of my students had IEPs for diagnoses including ADHD, autism spectrum, emotional and behavioral special needs, dyslexia and learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, vision loss, etc. I have some volunteer experience in the special needs field and family/friend experience supporting kids facing complex medical journeys.

I do not have much prior experience as a caregiver for children with severe disabilities or complex medical needs, but would be willing to learn.
