With experience at both in-home and school settings I have a vide variety of skills and abilities to meet the needs of many families. I approach child care with gentleness and discipline to prepare the children for success by utilizing loving words, encouragement of honesty and good character, and saying yes as much as possible so a “no” is clearly understood as a protection for the child to make them feel safe and cared for. Of course, all in all, I try to make everything fun and full of life. Creating a consistent routine that incorporates fun, learning, exploration of life and developmentally appropriate experiences to encourage curiosity has been great for many children I’ve worked with in the past but my number one priority is working as a team with parents to foster an environment that will support their child or teen the best.
