Hi my name is Monica Lopez and pretty much I have been around children most of my life. Starting with my siblings at my younger years and then teenage years babysitting for friends and family after school through high school. After I graduated I started the medical field from working with family practice, cancer patients, assisted living elderly people. Then came my own family raising 4 children of my own putting them through school maintaining my household work that turned into a full time job! That was the time in my life my children. When I had them all in school I started medical receptionist from all fields. What really made me choose a career was working with children I’m currently working for a pediatrician been there 14 years so I have worked with newborns to adolescents. I also worked with autistic kids, all kinds of special needs children. I love my job! I enjoy working with children at Apc Pediatrics. I work with 4 doctors 5 ARNP’S.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy reading, art, helping with homework overall taking care and helping with everything having fun and making them laugh and just let them know that they are special. I enjoy all outdoor activities walking riding bicycles and enjoying the outdoor life. I love arts and crafts.

My experience with special needs children...
Always know everyone of the special needs children are different so the more you know their routine the more trust you will gain. You Must be very patients. Sometimes it can be challenging, but just remember their children and every child is different until you get to really know the child needs and I’m willing to give all my dedication..
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when my first child was born. The doctor told us a girl we were going to have a girl we bought girl stuff we did the room pink everything was pink pink pink then we heard our first born cry. That’s when the doctors told us do you want to hold your son It’s the most memorable day. I will never forget we had pink forever. all I know is when I saw my baby for the first time it was the best day of our lives my children they mean so much to me.
