"Monica is a great nanny. She's very considerate of the our needs and structure. She helped enforce consistency with our child.
She goes above and beyond. Monica helped our picky toddler add new foods to his routine (carrots). When we started potty training, she knew exactly how to help. She also came with art projects to do and share with our children.
She's very punctual, and flexible to our needs. She's amenable to feedback. She gave us space for date nights.
She's built a connection with our child and we're so lucky to have had her work with our family."

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As a nanny, I love engaging in activities with children that spark their creativity and curiosity. Craft projects, such as making colorful collages or building sculptures with various materials, offer a wonderful opportunity for artistic expression and fine motor skill development. Outdoor adventures like scavenger hunts, nature walks, and trips to the park/beach are not only enjoyable but also encourage exploration and an appreciation for the environment. Reading together is a favorite pastime, as it fosters a love for storytelling and enhances language skills. Balancing these structured activities with spontaneous play allows for a dynamic and enriching experience, helping children learn and grow in a fun and supportive environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important aspect of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported. A nanny's role extends beyond basic care; it involves fostering emotional growth, encouraging curiosity, and providing consistent guidance. Building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their families is crucial, as it ensures that the child’s needs are met holistically. By balancing empathy with structure, a nanny helps shape a child's development, making it essential to approach the role with both professionalism and genuine affection.
My experience with special needs children...
I have minimal experience with children with disabilities, but I do not shy away from it. I'm very open and caring to all. I'm a fast learner, and dedicated to providing excellent care. So I am more than willing to learn new things to excel in providing the best possible care for any child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a nanny at the beach is the day we set out to find little crabs. The excitement was palpable as the children and I waded through the shallow tide pools, carefully lifting rocks and seaweed to find the tiny crabs hiding underneath. Each discovery was met with gasps of delight and many questions, which I eagerly answered while we observed the crabs quick, darting movements. The sense of wonder and teamwork as we explored together, coupled with the laughter and joy, made it a truly special day that captured the magic of learning and discovery at the beach.
