A little bit about me

Hi family's! I'm a dedicated nanny, and mom of a 2.5 year old boy. Prior to having my son, I have 10 years of nanny experience. With children ranging from newborns, to 12 years old. I have lots of experience caring for multiple children at once. I'm fully vaccinated (Tdap, Flu, Covid). I'm trained in infant CPR, and First Aid. I'm in the process of becoming bilingual, I can speak some Korean but am not yet fluent. My son and I are learning together. I'm hoping for a position where my son is welcome to come with me. (I have the option of leaving him with family on occasion) We love playing outside, reading, games, and arts and crafts! I have many good references, and I know I could be a wonderful addition to help relieve some of your family's day to day responsibilities. The most important aspect of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported. A nanny's role extends beyond basic care; it involves fostering emotional growth, encouraging curiosity, and providing consistent guidance. Building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their families is crucial, as it ensures that the child’s needs are met holistically. I have minimal experience with children with disabilities, but I do not shy away from it. I'm very open and caring to all. I'm a fast learner, and dedicated to providing excellent care. So I am more than willing to learn new things to excel in providing the best possible care for any child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories as a nanny at the beach is the day we set out to find little crabs. The excitement was palpable as the children and I waded through the shallow tide pools, carefully lifting rocks and seaweed to find the tiny crabs hiding underneath. Each discovery was met with gasps of delight and many questions, which I eagerly answered while we observed the crabs quick, darting movements. The sense of wonder and teamwork as we explored together, coupled with the laughter and joy, made it a truly special day that captured the magic of learning and discovery at the beach.
