Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat my 4 cousins (3 girls ages 8-11-13) and one boy (age 3) for about 2 years now. I babysat them during summers when they did not have school, when school started back up mom and dad had me babysitting school nights. my duties were to get the children ready for bed and help with any homework, also helped prepare lunches.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

i love to play outdoors and indoors, i can run around with them (safely) outside, play on playgrounds, play games that the child would like to play. i always make sure i am supervising the child while they play and if they would like me to play with them i’d be more than happy to. indoors, whatever the child would like to play i will play with them. barbies, dress up, legos, tablet, board games, etc. whatever they’d like to do is fine by me as long as it is not destructive or wrong. i am a kid at heart so playing around with the children is one of my favorite things to do.

the most important part about being a nanny is the comfort the child has with you. the child’s happiness and comfort comes first. i want them to think of me as a big sister that they can count on. a person that will protect and care for them.
