A little bit about me

I’m 21 and I work at a daycare, I’m an infant teacher. I Choose to become an early childhood educator because I remember the significant impact the early educators in my life had on me. I like to think that i've had firsthand learning with children as I have helped raised all my three nieces. Supporting them emotionally and helping them academically has been a rewarding feeling and has pushed me to prepare a professional career as an early childhood educator. I always knew I wanted to expand my knowledge and help all the children possible throughout my life and career. I was able to been employed at a daycare and have a taste of what working with other children is like. I genuinely enjoy the major impact I can have in a child life just by being an early Childhood educator.

What I aspire to be as an early childhood educator is not only helping children learn fundamental skills but getting them excited to be creative, explore new things and giving them a life-long love of learning. I will try to engage the children by planning fun, creative, exciting child-led activities, I will also make sure to encourage the children to be independent. I believe that having fun while learning allows the children to learn at their greatest potential. It is my job to help them find their love for learning by giving them opportunities to find their individual abilities. With every opportunity, keeping the interests of the children ahead of everything else is what I hope for all aspects of my career in early childhood environment.
