I took care of one family who had 3 girls. Oldest was 6 and the two youngest were twins and ages were 4.
Second family had 4 kids. The youngest was 7 months old. Second youngest was 6 and the middle child was 10 and the oldest was 12. Very sweet kids all of them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Baking, games, going outside and playing with chalk. Hide and seek. Drawing contests! Whatever you suggest that keeps there attention! That’s not phones or tv unless it’s time to wind down then a movie or an episode of there favorite show. Also go for walks!

Changing the kids lives you are taking care of. Even in a small way.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t had any experience but I’m always willing to learn. I had two girls that were twins with a speech impediment and I helped them with there reading and pronunciation. Always re read sentences to makes sure she was saying it right even if it meant staying on one word for a second.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is with both families. Before I went to culinary school I always cooked and baked a dessert for the families. The first family with 4 kids wanted to help so bad and I let them. We baked peanut butter cookies and just seeing them in the kitchen with me and the smiles they had on their faces. It just warms my heart! Then the excitement they had when they tasted them! Will never forget that! The second family with 3 kids same thing was with baking. And one of the twins isn’t very verbal she would say words but it wouldn’t be actually words. Good thing was her older sister knew what she was saying and would help me. But there was one time she wasn’t having a good day and the only words she would say was baking. Babysitter. And it truly warmed my heart. Once we got home and they did there homework. I took them to the kitchen and we made a cake together. And I let them decorate it. The smiles and the excitement from the little girl that wasnt very verbal.bery happy.
