I'm a college student at UGA looking for a part time job I can manage with classes. I love movies, the outdoors, reading, and I always enjoy working with kiddos! I do have tattoos, but I'm able to cover them if desired and while I am personally not religious I respect all religious beliefs and backgrounds. I do have a peanut allergy so anything involving nuts is out of the question, but any other meal prep is something I can either start off doing or for specific dietary needs I am willing to learn!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as an outdoor adventure camp counselor at Sawnee Mountain Camp with ages 5-15, as a swim teacher at Goldfish Swim School with infants and toddlers, and I've babysat many times for various family friends! I also worked briefly as an assistant teacher at a preschool where I was primarily placed with 3 and 4 year olds.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

It always depends on age, but I'm a pretty versatile person! I've taken kiddos to parks and short hikes before, but I've also enjoyed just staying in and putting on a movie while we play. I enjoy helping out with homework when needed and with little ones things as simple as color and shape sorting or reading together is something I enjoy deeply.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being there for a child when their parent can't be is an incredibly important responsibility. You have to make sure the child knows they are loved so deeply by those around them, and you have to be able to not only have fun but also make sure they're growing and learning to be the best person they can be!

I took two girls I was babysitting to Target and we spent hours picking out outfits for each other and having a little fashion show in the dressing room, we didn't buy anything but the experience was a blast!
