More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Due to the fact that I’m young, I haven’t had much experience in the childcare field where I worked in a daycare. However, I did grow up taking care of my two baby brothers on occasions where my parents had to work.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going outside and playing different activities, such as tag, freeze tag, hopscotch. I enjoy drawing and painting so I love engaging children in showing their creative side. I love watching shows with them whether it be kid shows or educational shows, it helps them a lot, as well as me. I enjoy cooking with them to help them learn to care and feed themselves when they’re the appropriate age to do so themselves. I enjoy reading with them and taking naps, lol.. I know it helps a lot. In general, I enjoy spending time and being around children, it makes my inner-child happy doing things I missed out on as a child.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have much experience with special needs children. However, I helped raised my god-brother since he was a baby and found out that he was autistic. It was a job but I learned to be patient with him and help him out as best as I can on his pace. I was able to learn him and the things he loved and didn’t love to do. It helped me to not only be able to understand him, but to be careful with him and learn and adapt to how his mind works vs ours. I enjoyed being his god-sister. Granted it was hard work at times, but I’d do it all over again if I could.
