A little bit about me

Hello! I am currently a student at the university of Nebraska studying psychology with a minor in child youth and family studies. I have a passion for working with kids and helping them process emotions in the best way possible. In the future I want to be a therapist for children, and possibly specializing in play therapy. I am the youngest of my family but at the age of about 16 babysat my three younger cousins during the summers sometimes. I currently work at a before/after school program with kindergarten to 5th grade students and absolutely love it. I am looking for a summer nannying job whilst I am home. I love to go on walks when it’s nice out, read books with kids, or am just good to go with the flow! I am reliable and communicative especially when working with children. I also am willing to help around the house if needed also!

I have volunteered for a grief camp a few years ago and it was an amazing experience! I got to learn so much about not only how to help the children process grief but even learned about myself. I currently work at a before/after school program where I am a teachers assistant. I work with kindergarten to fifth grade students to supervise them during activities, help with homework, deescalate situations if needed, and just be there if they need anything!
