A little bit about me

Hello, I retired after working 29 years with a fortune 500 company. I've raised 3 grown independent children. I also have 3 Grand children and am a major part of their lives. I'm an agile active and mobile person. I like to read to children. I love little people. (not so much of a pet person) I've never really owned a pet. Since my retirement I've taken on another career and am gainfully employed Full-Time M-F 8-5. Yet I still have enough energy to do something else that I like which is to be a Nanny. I've never been a Nanny, but I have years on experience taking good care of babies, toddlers, children and teens successfully. I'm available to work as a Nanny 2-3 hours M-F 6-9pm some evenings as well as most Saturdays and Sundays.
I have a dependable car and drivers license. I'm flexible regarding light chores, I'm tidy, thoughtful of others , a kind and caring human. Little humans are phenomenal people who likes to explore. Exploration is good. I still explore life..

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My name is Priscilla. I'm often called Ms. Priscilla by all. I'm new as a Nanny (never been a nanny before. Yet I am experienced with young humans. I have raised 3 successful grown and independent children/grown ups, 2 boys and a girl. I am in a meaningful part of my 3 grand children's lives. With a host of nieces and nephews, my home has always been a safe place for children to come, be a kid, play and learn.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm big on reading children books, playing with child and their toys, cooking with child, just all around spending time with children. Children love being the center of the attention, It's all about the child for me, I'm big on outdoor activities during summer that includes walking, love use of stroller, I bike ride so if you have an attachment I'd like trail rides in the park or neighborhood. Pool side fun (I'm not a swimmer but it has never stopped me and a toddler/children from having fun in the water). Stroll through zoo, science center, downtown by the Arch, A walk in a safe neighborhood, play dates, Birthday celebrations. When it comes to fun-time, safety and learning activities. Count me in.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The child. The child's well-being. and The parents comfort level and trust in me.

My experience with special needs children...

My niece has been a Nanny for a special needs child from birth to he is now 4yrs old. He has become a part of our family. Whereas I do not have any experience directly with special needs children I am willing and patient enough to learn. If it is not a good fit I'd be the first to say so, Your child should ben in the best hands as possible at all times.
