More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for younger family members, including my little sister and cousins, helping with everything from meal prep to bedtime routines. I’ve also babysat for family friends with toddlers and elementary-aged kids, where I handled things like playtime, homework help, light cleaning, and making snacks. I’m also a certified CNA, so I’ve developed strong caregiving skills, patience, and the ability to stay calm in unexpected situations. Being around kids brings me joy, and I always do my best to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing creative and hands-on activities with kids like arts and crafts, drawing, and building things with blocks or Legos I like to push for less technology and I also enjoy playing outside, going for walks, and doing fun learning games that help with reading or numbers. Baking simple treats together or having dance parties are always a hit too! I’m all about making sure they have fun while also learning and staying active.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me the most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe, loving, and encouraging environment where the child can truly flourish. It’s about helping them feel happy, supported, and free to express themselves. When a child feels confident and cared for they can explore their interests learn, and grow while also just being a kid and enjoying all the fun that comes with it.
My experience with special needs children...
I have personal experience caring for my younger sister, who has autism, which has taught me the importance of patience, routine, and supportive communication. I’ve also gained professional experience during my CNA clinicals, where I cared for individuals with various disabilities and learned how to provide respectful, attentive healthcare. These experiences have helped me feel confident in adapting to different needs and creating a safe, understanding environment for every child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was teaching a child to read. It was honestly a bit challenging at first and they would get discouraged sometimes, but I kept encouraging them and cheering them on. Slowly, with practice, they started reading to me, excitedly showing off their favorite books they’d picked up from the school library. Watching them overcome those hurdles and take pride in their progress was so rewarding.
