Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an au pair in Colorado for a year with a year old baby and a 9 years old girl, and then for another year in Washington DC with two boys (9 and 11 yrs old).
Back in Argentina, I volunteered in a children’s hospital every Saturday for 6 months. I would just be there to distract them for a couple of hours, and bring a smile to their faces.

It depends on the age, but first I try to get to know the kids to see what they are interested in. But I personally enjoy playing games, sports, going to the park, and draw and paint.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s really important for me to be a person that the kid and the family can rely on. I want to make the kid feel secure, comfortable, and just have fun while I’m there. I grew up with a little brother and two parents who worked full time, so I learned from a young age the huge responsibility that it is to have a kid under your watch.

The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was in Colorado back in 2021, the baby that I was taking care of wasn’t having contact with other kids due to COVID-19. And I was there with him when he started interacting with other kids his age. It was just amazing to be part of that moment of him experiencing so many new things.
