More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have previously been a Nanny for 2 families and have had numerous babysitting families. The children’s ages have ranged from 1 month old to 16 years of age. I am registered in CPR and First Aid. I have previously worked as a gymnastics coach (7 years), working with kids ages 11 months to 17.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading with them, going on walks, playing at the park, playing games in the back yard, swimming, drawing, making forts, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Giving them a safe and healthy environment for them to thrive in. Also, being able to see a kid grow throughout the time your with them! Watching them learn new things and figure out something new is so fun!

My experience with special needs children...

I have had previous experience with 1 special needs child who has low functioning autism. I would take them to and from school, prepare meals, bathroom breaks, bath time, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When the child gets comfortable with you and their full personality comes out! Also, I have previously nannied a child with severe sensory issues who had a hard time getting dressed in the morning. With a lot of patience and learning her triggers, overtime her reactions weren’t nearly as severe and she is now able to get dressed most days without any reactions at all. So cool to see!
