More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've spent the past three years working closely with families to provide consistent, reliable childcare. Throughout that time, I’ve cared for children of different ages, managing everything from daily routines like meals and naps to engaging them in creative play and educational activities. I’ve built strong relationships with both the kids and their parents by being patient, attentive, and adaptable to each child’s unique needs. It’s been a truly rewarding experience that’s taught me the importance of trust, communication, and creating a safe, positive environment where kids can thrive!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoyed engaging in a variety of activities with the kids, depending on their interests and ages. One of my favorites was doing arts and crafts, where we would get creative with painting, drawing, and building fun projects. I also loved taking them outdoors for nature walks or playing games in the park like tag or hide-and-seek. On rainy days, we’d get cozy with storytime or play educational games to make learning fun. I always enjoyed mixing in activities that were both enjoyable and beneficial for their development. :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, nurturing environment for the children. It’s essential to be reliable, patient, and supportive, not only in the everyday tasks but also in understanding each child's individual needs and personality. Establishing open communication with the parents is also key, so they feel confident in your care and can rely on you. Ultimately, being a nanny is about being a positive role model and creating an environment where kids can grow, learn, and feel comfortable being themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was from last year when I helped one of the kids I worked with learn to ride a bike without training wheels for the first time. It took a lot of patience, but the look on their face when they finally got it was priceless. It was such a rewarding experience because it showed me how much trust they had in me, and it felt amazing to be part of such a huge milestone. Moments like those really remind me why I love working with kids—they teach you as much as you teach them!
