Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked as both Lead and assistant teacher at a preschool amongst several different age groups. As lead , I worked with children ages 12-18 months old for a full year & have since worked with children 2 months old to 6 year olds. I previously was in the Early childhood education program & gained experience there , as well as another full year of being an assistant teacher with 18-24 month old kiddos.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy using play as an opportunity to teach the children new vocabulary or to practice previously known vocabulary. I also enjoy getting to know each child I work with to be able to connect and get to know them better, to create a safe and caring environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment teaching would have to be the random cuddles & love I receive from the children I work with and getting to know their personalities and what makes them laugh.
