A little bit about me

Hello!
My name is Natalie and I'm a mom of three adult sons. I've previously worked as a live-in nanny of two boys, as well as a day care teacher, school bus driver and CNA. My eldest son lives in Roswell, so it would make me so happy to relocate back to the area.
I'm a very dedicated, outgoing and fun loving adult who enjoys caring for children of all ages. I have a "goof ball" sense of humor and have no problem bringing myself to an age appropriate level. I believe children need nurturing, protection and attention. I have an impeccable driving record and although I'm not currently certified in CPR and First-aid, I have been previously and am willing to earn those certifications.
I'd also like to inform you that I'm a "clean freak"; having excellent housekeeping and organization skills as well as a love for cooking and baking.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My sons are all adults now. Way back in 1997 and again in 1999, I worked as a daycare teacher where I was able to take my sons with me to work. Throughout this time, I cared for children of all age groups; teaching them, playing with them, nap time, diaper changing, etc.
In 2015, I added school bus driver to my resume, and now have about five years of experience driving all age groups too and from school.
And, I did the teenage babysitter thing, as well as provided round-the-clock infant/toddler care from the age of 14 for my two baby brothers. That's were I really learned alot about infant/toddler care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing games, arts amd crafts, coloring or finger painting, helping with school work and more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me is being a loving role model, offer guidance and protection when or where the parents aren't able to. Not as a disciplinarian, but as a leader and protector. I believe a nanny still has to enforce the rules created by the parent(s), and do so firmly, but kindly. I believe a nanny is there as a caregiver, protector, teacher, provider, and positive role model.
