I have also been a summer camp counselor for two years. One summer I spent working at FCA camps and this past summer I worked at Eagle Lake Camps.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I would do anything the kids enjoyed. I’m super active and love to be outside as much as possible. Whether that’s riding bikes, drawing with chalk, or playing on a swing set I am always down for that. I also love to read books either to kids or have them practice reading to me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love spending time with kids because of the joy that they have within them. It is such a special and short time when kids are young and just absorb everything like a sponge. I love their curiosity and helping them learn new things.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve volunteered to work with two children in my church community that have special needs. They are incredible kids and I loved worked hanging out with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I nannied for a family full time while I was in high school and recently I babysat for them so their parents could have a date night. One of their kids had made an art project for school talking about their hero’s and she chose to write about me. It was the sweetest moment ever and one that I will remember forever.
