A little bit about me

I’m Irish/American, 25 years old and I have a level 8 bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have always had a strong bond with children, growing up I would babysit for all my neighbors and family friends, they would say that I had a way with children and that I should persue a career in teaching. However, I have realized that teaching is not the right fit for me as I don’t have the Gaeilge required to teach in Ireland, however being an American citizen I have now realized that I would love to care for children in a more playful environment. I can help with homework, cooking, choirs and after school curriculum but I think the relationships that a child form early on is the most important factor in forming a child’s well-being and development. I hope to be a caring and positive roll model in a child’s life going forward in my career.
