In high school, I took a childcare class where we worked essentially with kids/babies. I also, watch my nieces and nephews a lot and I have a kid of my own. When I was 15 I watched a handicapped little boy every weekend for 5 years! I have worked with troubled youth ages 7-14 and I have worked with handicapped individuals.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My daughter and I love drawing with chalk outside on the sidewalk. We also enjoy blowing bubbles! I enjoy taking kids to the park so that they can play! Playing outside and being active is important to me rather than being in the house and the kids playing on tablets and phones. I enjoy taking the kids swimming, playing basketball, going to the zoo, or making puzzles, and coloring! Just pretty much anything the kids want to do!
