A little bit about me

I've worked in early childhood education for about 3 ½ years, teaching and taking care of children from 14 months to 6 years, plus children from 7 to 12 years during summer.

Marry Poppins said it best: "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and—snap!—the job's a game!" Kids learn best through play, so I try to have fun with everything that I do. Whether it's setting the table for breakfast, getting ready for bed, or anything in between!

And through having fun, I teach children how to play safely, how to identify and express their emotions, how to do things independently (depending on their age), and other things to help them navigate life!
