More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have extensive experience caring for children, starting with babysitting my siblings, where I handled responsibilities like feeding, bathing, giving medicine, playing, and providing emotional support. During high school, I worked as a babysitter over the summer, excelling in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the kids I cared for. Additionally, while working at the Boys and Girls Club, my main role was to focus on the children, ensuring their safety, providing guidance, and offering leadership and support. These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in patience, problem-solving, communication, and creating meaningful connections with children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing fun and engaging activities with children, like arts and crafts, reading stories, playing outdoor games, and even baking simple treats together. I enjoy encouraging their creativity, helping them learn, and making sure they have a great time while feeling safe and cared for

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where the kids feel happy and cared for. It's not just about watching them; it’s about building trust, nurturing their growth, and being someone they can rely on. You have to show patience, kindness, and adaptability to meet their unique needs while also supporting the family. At the end of the day, it’s about making a positive difference in their lives.

My experience with special needs children...

Having grown up with ADHD myself, I understand the challenges it can bring and the patience it takes to manage them. This personal experience helps me relate to children who face similar struggles. I strive to create a supportive, structured, and fun environment that meets their unique needs, making sure they feel understood and encouraged every step of the way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my best nanny moments was when I planned a "pirate adventure day" with the kids I was watching. We built a fort in the living room as our pirate ship, made treasure maps, and dressed up with bandanas and eye patches 😭, The highlight was hiding a "treasure chest" (a shoebox filled with candy and little toys) in the backyard and watching their excitement when they found it. Their joy and laughter were definitely contagious, and it felt amazing to create such a memorable day for them. It’s moments like that that remind me why I LOVE working with kids.

Babysitter Available in Port St. Lucie, FL: Linda M.

Hi! I’m an adult college student with a professional background in hospitality and event coordination. Years ago I cared for my nieces and nephew from infancy through toddlerhood, and I’ve always been very comfortable with babies and children. I raised a stepson from age nine, and had a special needs stepdaughter.
I’m dependable, patient, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping others feel safe and cared for. My work background has taught me how to multitask, communicate well, and stay organized in busy environments.
I’m currently looking for a weekday position that fits well with my schedule, and I would love the opportunity to support a family that values reliability, kindness, and attentive care. I’m also current on my Tdap/whooping cough vaccine.

Francesca T. - Seeking Work in Port St. Lucie

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Port St. Lucie, FL: Francesca T.

I've dedicated the last nine years to ensuring that every child in my care feels safe, loved, and stimulated. As a caregiver, I've had the privilege of witnessing the incredible growth and development of children, which fuels my passion for this work.

My calm and friendly demeanor puts children at ease, allowing them to express themselves freely. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and provide regular updates about their child's day. With a firm belief in consistency, I comfortably enforce household rules while still maintaining a nurturing environment.

With my background in early childhood education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to my role as a caregiver. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR and have completed coursework in early child development.

I am also a certified 6 weeks through 5-year-old teacher. Which means that I can teach any child within that age range in a childcare facility or outside of one. I have 9 years of experience doing this!

Full-Time Nanny Available in Port St. Lucie, FL: Barbara Y.

I am 54 years young, and have been taking care of children for as long as I can remember!! I was born with this incredible love for all things baby!! My favorite stage is newborns, however I have cared for children of all ages!! I started out as a mother’s helper at the age of 12, and quickly went to independent babysitting. I have worked in daycare centers, been a private nanny, and ran my own in home daycare.. I have SO many amazing children (some adults now)and their families in my life! I have been so fortunate to do what I love and love what I do!!! I look forward to continue caring for little ones until the day I retire, and then perhaps I will continue to care for babies if I ever get the opportunity to become a grandmother!!😁
