Hello, I'm Neriah & I'm trying to move to HI (aiming for oct move). I am 22, from CO, & have a degree from CU Boulder. I have nannied for 3 different families from high school - college & I absolutely miss it.

I am a compassionate caretaker who loves kids, wildlife, & adventures. I care deeply for people & love to help others. After searching for corporate jobs for some time & having a lot of my life change in college, I've realized I need to follow my heart.. & childhood dream of moving to HI.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been babysitting and nannying since I was 15 years old (I am 22 now). I have also taken care of my two younger brothers while growing up.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing outside, musical activities, crafts, imaginary games with their toys, sports, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, being a nanny means being fulfilled. It means trying to see life through a child's eyes and working with them to make being a kid fun, safe, and enjoyable. It means caring for them like you would your little brother or your own child. It means being a friend and connecting as means of a job which is so so so special.

My experience with special needs children...

I trust in my ability to care for any disability and know I could learn how to properly help and care for them :) As someone who lived with an undiagnosed brain malformation for years and underwent surgery during college, I am very sensitive to disabilities and making others feel safe, cared for, and understood. I would love to help a child with special needs.
