A little bit about me

Hi :) My name is Nevaeh Boggs. I’ve worked with kids for as long as I can remember. I started babysitting when I was 12 for little cousins and family friends. My first job was at a daycare in the school age room and the 2/3 year old room for a year. I moved on to nanny for a family with a 3 year old little boy and twin girls for 3 years. I currently work as an elementary school para in an ESE classroom. I love working with the children but am looking to move back to nannying. I went to Harrison school for the arts for film in high school so I love to do arts and crafts with the kids. I love to read books and go outside to keep the kids entertained. I’m happy to do school work with preschool aged children as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience in an Elementary ESE Access classroom. I am a para (assistant teacher) but we currently do not have a teacher so I help fulfill that role along the ESE specialist. I help lesson plan and work on the curriculum. I work one on one with nonverbal children and physically disabled students. I help with bathroom activities and feedings.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a habit of sneezing under my shirt to keep the germs away and after a couple of weeks with my one year old he caught on to the habit. He would come up to me and lift my shirt above my nose and pretend sneeze. It continued on for months :) He did it to his parents and everyone.
