I’m Ni'Kierra Allen (I’m referred to as Nike), I’m 17 years old, I attend Southwest high school and I’m currently in the 12th grade. Im secretary for FBLA and lead singer/actor for chorus and theatre. I have different interests and hobbies. Such as songwriting, painting, cooking/ baking, doing hair/ makeup/ nails, playing multiple instruments, and writing poetry. I’m well acquainted with kids and how to take of their safety, needs and wants. I’m well aware of how to budget when getting things for them and I'm also not mean or rude when guiding or teaching them. I have been wanting to become a nanny/ babysitter since I was 14 years old, since I always had my cousins nieces and nephews to take care of, I thought why not get paid for it. When I was taking care of one of my friend’s family kids for the weekend, they told me that they wouldn’t want or let anybody else keep them but me, because of how kind, patient, and loving I was with them. Which I thought was a problem for a little bit, but overall I remember is just looking at them, trying to hold the tears back from pure joy, because it’s nothing like feeling appreciated and loved so much from a child you try so hard to be there for.
