Greetings, my name is Nia Martin and I am a second year at Florida State University majoring in Public Health. I aspire to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I am a certified nursing assistant and I have a current basic life support certification. As a nursing assistant I have worked shifts at pediatric facilities and cared for kids with skilled nursing needs. I have also completed a paid internship at The Creative Learning Center in Miami where I served as a floater and helped around a summer camp classroom. In addition to this role, I served as a teacher's assistant for the Kumon in Pinecrest. Aside from paid opportunities, I also volunteered with special needs children and adults at The Friendship Circle in Miami.
