I’m a creative based in Los Angeles, and I’d love to help your family out! Growing up in NY I spent 5 years volunteering with children with special needs at my local JCC, as well as 2 years as a sleep away counselor for boys ranging from 4-9 years old. After majoring in Communications at Vanderbilt University I relocated to Los Angeles and have spent the last several years working in various jobs in entertainment. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a camp counselor for two years, as well as spending 5 years in my teens volunteering every Sunday with children with special needs. I also spent time as a personal assistant which including occasional child supervision, driving, helping them with projects, etc.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I generally like to let the kid lead, but I’m a big fan of arts and crafts and doing something with our hands, or using our imaginations. I’m also a big film fan and love introducing kids to movies I think they’ll like, and I’m famous for my movie recommendations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Children are unique and complete human beings with their own perspectives. Respect is mutual and can only be earned, not demanded.

My experience with special needs children...

I spent 5 years volunteering every Sunday at a special needs center from the ages of 13-18. I was primarily in charge of the teen group, but was eventually volunteer supervisor and involved with all ages. I also happen to be child of two pediatricians, including one developmental pediatrician, and have a first cousin who is an adult living with non verbal autism, so it’s something I have a unique understanding of.
