I was a dance teacher for 7 years. I thought all ages from 2.5 years to 15. With those younger ages we worked on core skills like listening, motor skills, learning to make friends/work together, share and many other skills to grow and adapt at there young age.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
coloring, watching educational tv/movies, making food/snacks, going for walks, playing games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
being there for the child when the parent can't be. We need to be the other trusted adult to keep the kids safe and engaged in a safe environment. Whether we stay in the house or go out on an adventure, we need to be the adult and make smart decisions to keep the children safe up to the parents discretion.
