Hello. Professional Nanny with over 20 years of experience. Mother of two, ages 23 and 12. Former Teacher’s Assistant with Montessori experience. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant that worked on the ICU mainly and ER as needed. CPR and First Aid certified and up to date on vaccinations.Started out as a home daycare provider to currently working outside the home as a mother's helper, sitter and a nanny. My home daycare clients I have been blessed to watch from 6 weeks and up. bittersweet because I miss them but, still watch a lot here and there. I have experience working with twins, children of all ages, children with medical needs, mental health issues, learning disabilities or delays, children with autism or on the spectrum and also children with special needs. Arts and crafts, walks, going on field trips, playing sports, outdoor play and playing toys.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to observe first events such as smiling, crawling, talking, walking, the big smile and cheer of accomplishment a child makes when they complete a new task or just extra proud of something little they’ve done. I never have dreaded waking up for work because I know one laugh or hug or just watching a child play is the best feeling.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children who have suffered from abuse, mental health and behavioral issues, ADHD ( my daughter and brother both have so I am very familiar with), Autism, Down Syndrome, Food Allergies and Diabetes.

I am currently a full time nanny for an amazing family with 2 boys, ages 4 and 8. Due to Covid, my contract is supposed to end in mid June since both children will be returning to school full-time in the Fall.

Prior to my current position, I was a full time nanny for a wonderful 5 year-old girl for about 1.5 years. Due to Covid, this nanny family had to unfortunately lay me off. With both families, I also performed light housekeeping duties.
