Hello! My name is Nina Gray, I am one of seven children and I’ve been working as a full time and part time nanny for 9 years. I have worked with kids as young as 2 days old and as old as 13 years old. I have also worked in day care and camp counselor positions where I was responsible for about 20 kids. I have also worked in system building positions where I help a family put in new systems and find what works for their family to run as smoothly and stress free as possible. I have worked with several neuro-divergent kids and am happy to learn more about your kid to care for them as best I can. I am CPR certified, have a car, and can’t wait to meet you!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Understanding that your job is to love and care for the child within the expectations of the parents. A parent is the primary caregiver, educator, and influencer on a child. A nanny is only there to supplement the parents position, not undermine it. Getting to hang out with and have relationships with sweet and wonderful kids and families is just icing on the cake.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a lot of experience with things like sensory integration, reactive attachment disorder, severe behavioral issues, and other neuro-divergent needs. I have not had much experience with other types of special needs but I have some medical background and I’m happy to learn!
