I have experience with children who have autism and children who are diabetic. My 15-year-old daughter was diagnosed as a type one diabetic 11 years ago.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I used to be a nanny to a little boy who has autism and they lived a few blocks from my house. Anytime they would drive by my house a little boy would get all excited thinking he was coming over. I have gotten many phone calls from his mom is he screaming in the background " I wanna go to Aunt Elle's!". Now that I'm his occasional babysitter, he will call me from his mom's phone and asked me to come get him because he wants to come over. I have been in his life since he was 6 months old and he's now close to being 7
