A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Noemi and I'm 33 years old. I started taking care of kids when I was young with my 4 nephews. Afterward, I worked as a babysitter for 4 years (while I was at the University). My most recent experiences have been with twins (boy and girl) since they were born, along with their 4-year-old brother. During the pandemic, for 2.5 years, I worked as a live-in-nanny for 3 girls (twins since they're 2 weeks old and their 2-year-old sister). Later, I cared for an 8-month-old boy and his 3-year-old sister for a year. My latest experience has been with a 3month girl (she is now 21 months). I fed them, took care of naps and diapers, bathed them, played and took them to activities to make sure they achieved milestones, etc. I also did housekeeping: dishes, preparing bottles, doing laundry, cleaning, folding and organizing clothes and toys. I have an engineering and a video production degree. I am fluent in English and Spanish and love teaching both to little ones.

When I have worked as a tutor (Spanish mainly but also music). When I was younger I used to do rhythmic gymnastics and as we grew older we helped and cared for the little ones that started since ages went from 2-3 years old to 16 years old.

I love painting, reading books, doing arts and crafts with them, dancing, learning songs, playing with the ball, going for walks or little 'adventures' from going to the park to going to the museum or zoo but I also like creating new games where they have the freedom of being creative and make up their own games

For me, the most important thing about being a nanny is ensuring kids are always safe and happy! I love being a nanny because when you are with them, you rediscover the world through their eyes, and the excitement in their face when they accomplish something new is so fulfilling and rewarding!

It is when, for example, you see them learning new moves, words, and skills, and you can see the excitement and happiness in their faces. I find this job the most rewarding and fulfilling job in the world, and for some reason, I connect with babies very fast.
