Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I nannied for four children ages 5, 7, 10, and 12 in the mornings from during the school year, and during the week in the summer . My responsibilities included helping them wake up, preparing breakfast, getting them ready for school, and making sure everyone stays on schedule. IN the summer I planned activities to keep them busy, set up play-dates, and continued housework/meal prep. Managing four kids with different personalities has helped me become very organized, patient, and adaptable. I also previously worked as an infant teacher, where I cared for babies and focused on creating a nurturing environment that supports early development, routines, and communication.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a variety of fun and engaging activities with children, both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, I love doing arts and crafts, baking, reading stories, playing games, and doing fun activities that encourage creativity and learning. Outdoors, I enjoy going to the park, playing sports, going on walks, exploring nature, and having fun in the fresh air. I love finding activities that match each child's age and interests while helping them learn, and make happy memories!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when we did a science experiment together and the kids were so excited watching the reaction happen. They kept asking questions and wanting to try it again with different amounts to see what would change. Seeing their curiosity and excitement made it really fun, and moments like that are why I love working with kids.
