I worked for Tzofim- an organization based around Israeli culture for first and second-generation Americans wanting to be more connected to Israel where we would plan weekly activities as well as weekend camping trips. at this job, I would work anywhere from 2-96 hours straight where I would take care and entertain children from grades 1-9th.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to create- whether that means baking cookies from scratch or tie-dyeing a raggedy tee. I love doodling on paper and even playing a round of volleyball. I'll do anything really, I'm very flexible and have been a part in several sports as a child just (please) don't ask me to play football. :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
what matters to me is how happy the children are with what my effect on them. As much as I respect the parents and their wishes- which I will always obey- the smiles on the children's faces are what makes the job all that more stimulating.

My favorite nannying moment has to be when the two-year-old decided to let the four-year-old do her makeup! even though they were charmed with the dark purple sparkly eyeshadow sloppily smeared across her eyelids and fingers I was just thinking about everything that they would soon touch haha.
