The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a nanny was when I was caring for a little one who was just starting to say new words. We had a daily routine of reading books before nap time, and one afternoon, after weeks of pointing at pictures and repeating words together, they looked up at me, smiled, and clearly said the name of their favorite animal for the first time. I celebrated like it was the biggest award ever. Moments like that remind me how special it is to be part of a child’s growth and milestones. Being able to encourage, teach, and witness those small but powerful achievements means everything to me.
