The most important part about being a nanny...
is to be able to connect and bond with the children and let them know that they are seen, heard, and loved by others. I remember growing up with a single parent who worked all the time and how lonely that was for me, so as a nanny I want to be able to give quality time to these children and allow them to have someone who will be there to care for them, support them, and be fun and silly with so it can lessen that loneliness when their parents are working hard to provide for them. I think it is also equally important for me as a nanny to help the parents feel confident and secure with knowing there is someone dependable and understanding of their situation and will do everything they can do aid them and their children.
