Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 2½ years of childcare experience from working at the YWCA as an assistant teacher and floater, where I cared for children ranging from 3 months to 10 years old across multiple classrooms. In that role, I supported daily routines, helped manage behavior, assisted with meals and hygiene, and created a safe, structured environment for children with different ages and needs. Floating between rooms taught me how to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and stay calm under pressure while supporting both staff and kids. I also have previous CPR certification and plan to renew it this summer to stay prepared for emergencies and maintain up‑to‑date safety training.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing active and creative activities with children. Since I’m very athletic, I like taking kids on walks, playing simple outdoor games, and finding ways to keep them moving in a fun, safe way. I also enjoy doing crafts with them because it lets them be creative and gives us something hands‑on to work on together. Whether we’re outside getting energy out or inside making something, I like activities that keep kids engaged and let them express themselves.
