I am a teacher at my current position at a daycare. I work with infant age through school age! 0-12yrs old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities are I love crafting and doing artsy stuff with the kids, I also love doing a fun marching band before naps or get the wiggles out dance party. Some outdoor activities include chalk drawing or outdoor games like red light green light, visiting the park or learning about bugs we see (from a safe distance if applicable of course)
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for many special needs children at my current position. Mainly children who have autism. Every child is different on the spectrum and I believe I've seen enough to handle it accordingly. I am also doing a 40 hour RBT course (registered behavior technician) to sharpen my skills.
