I love planning fun and engaging activities with kids, such as arts and crafts, reading together, dance and movement games, outdoor play, and simple baking or snack-making. The most important part of being a nanny, to me, is creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where every child feels cared for and understood. Through my experience teaching toddler dancers and helping care for children with special needs, I’ve learned how to balance patience and responsibility with creativity and play.
My experience with special needs children...
Growing up, my mom taught special needs children, and I would often help out whenever I could, which gave me early exposure to working with kids who needed extra patience and support. Later, when I attended an afterschool program, the owner trusted me to care for toddlers with special needs, which was a big responsibility and an experience I truly valued. These moments taught me the importance of kindness, understanding, and creating a safe, encouraging space for every child.
