In addition, I was a Camp Counselor for the YMCA Camp Oakes. This camp was a chance for kids to make friends, learn responsibility, cooperation, leadership, and respect. With the position, I was able to care for a group of young children from ages 10-12 for a week, I have been lucky enough to have this position twice. I have also had the position of Unit Director for 5th Graders at Camp Palm Springs in Palm Springs, (Ages 9-11). I am always willing to try new things and meet new people.
