I was a an ESL teacher while living abroad in Seoul South Korea, where I taught children ages 3 -10. I also worked as a childcare professional / museum educator at the Southern California Children’s Museum in Pasadena CA. The museum specializes in interactive and imaginative play for children ages 0-6.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
There are so many activities to explore different learning environments and play styles!
A few of my favorite indoor activists are art and sensory programming, such as sensory bins and collage art making.
For outdoor activities we are spoiled by the great outdoors and child friendly spaces here in Reno such as the Discovery museum and many parks and play spaces! I also believe that a good daily walk or chalk/outside play is beneficial no matter what age.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is the connection and trust between you and the family. At the end of the day nanny’s are there to help care for and support both the parent/guardian as much so as the child.
I believe that each child needs as much love and support as they can get early in their life. It is both an honor and a privilege to be welcomed into a families home and care for their child as a nanny.
