More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
A particularly relevant experience where I cared for children was during my fieldwork at Rady’s Children’s Hospital, where I had the opportunity to work in both the ICU and NICU. As an occupational therapy fieldwork student, I assisted in providing therapeutic interventions for infants and children with various medical conditions and developmental needs. I collaborated with the healthcare team to support the children’s physical and cognitive development, helping them achieve functional goals related to daily activities.
In this role, I developed skills in assessing and adapting therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each child, including sensory integration and motor development. I gained valuable experience working with a diverse range of diagnoses, further strengthening my ability to provide care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in a variety of fun and educational activities that promote their development while keeping things enjoyable. Some of my favorites include outdoor play, such as hiking or nature walks, which helps children develop motor skills, coordination, and an appreciation for the environment. I also enjoy arts and crafts, which not only sparks creativity but also helps with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Additionally, I love reading stories and incorporating interactive elements like puppets or role-playing to engage their imaginations. Sensory play, like water or sand activities, is another favorite because it helps children explore different textures and stimulates their senses.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves.
