I started going to work with my aunt around 6 for a family that had a young boy he was 3 months at the time and I fell in love with helping take care of him. From then on as I got older I watched him on my own and still loved it. I stopped babysitting for them because they ended up moving to far away for me to travel.

The most important part about being a nanny...
In my opinion he most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child is safe and living the best life. I feel as though it is the nanny's job to keep them safe at all cost but that also goes with mentally. I wouldn't be the type of person who just watches tv when they play on the floor. We would play games together and run around outside because kids deserve to have fun.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not taken care of special needs alone but have been around people who have. I know I would want to see how the family does things first though before I was alone with a special needs child.
