A little bit about me

I am from the warm and beautiful state of Arizona, more specifically Tempe. I completed my Associates degree in Mesa, Az studying General Education. Soon thereafter I moved to Florida for two years to complete my Bachelors degree. I have years of childcare experience starting during my High School years as a babysitter and throughout college as a nanny for a family of 3 children, twin toddler boys and their new baby brother. After college I became a coach counselor for underprivileged juveniles where I found love in helping children in the system, so I became a state case aide for a year.
I truly appreciate being with children. Discovering their unique personalities and offering my knowledge to create a more Montessori-like atmosphere is important. Children desire an independent world with a wonderful, fun, and engaging nanny. Respectfully, I take my responsibility to you and yours seriously. The most important part about being a nanny...

I was doing a sensory activity for a 1-year-old boy. I boiled spaghetti noodles with blue food coloring and placed them in a kiddie pool. I then put different toy sea animals in the pool and dressed baby boy in a swimsuit. He was curious at first but began squealing with excitement as he wiggled his toes and fingers through the noodles. He looked at me with a big smile and his smile/concentration remained as he played. I will never forget his little, happy face.
