The most important part about being a nanny...
Creating a loving, educational, and exciting environment for children where they feel loved and safe. Also, teaching parents’ simple activities to do with their babies and keeping an open mind to ways I as the nanny can improve to make the future a little better with each child.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have experience in this field but have taken a few related courses during my time at Mesa Community College.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was doing a sensory activity for a 1-year-old boy. I boiled spaghetti noodles with blue food coloring and placed them in a kiddie pool. I then put different toy sea animals in the pool and dressed baby boy in a swimsuit. He was curious at first but began squealing with excitement as he wiggled his toes and fingers through the noodles. He looked at me with a big smile and his smile/concentration remained as he played. I will never forget his little, happy face.
