Outings! I love going to the park and library with my kiddos! One of my previous clients loved the aquarium. Where we were able to do therapy and made learning fun and exciting!

Is to build a strong beautiful relationship with the child and entire family. The last family I worked for was so dear to me. We were able to work together to make sure their child with special needs, strived to met his goals.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked at Tavan elementary with special education for Pre-K to 2nd grade ages. I also nannied for a family for their sweet boy with special needs, for 3 years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories is when the sweetest boy I was caring for asked to spell my name. He was non verbal and had just learned to spell his own name. So I used his communication device and showed him once how to spell my name. As I was leaving he got his device, sat on the floor. Then proceeded to keep pointing to the floor and used his device to say “Pam home”.
