A little bit about me

Howdy!
I am an experienced and accomplished caregiver for the past 20 years looking for a role that will help expand on my caregiving abilities. It all started when I was a teenager, then over the years developed professionally. Even when working for Corporate America, I would still find myself lending a helping hand. Not only does childcare allow me to live a fun and active lifestyle, but it also brings that of fulfillment. Children are fun, creative, loving, playful, and are so eager to learn new things. Being a part of their development is what makes the “job” so rewarding. I enjoy helping families with their childcare needs and would love to be a helping hand to you! Hope to meet you soon!

Note: I have provided care to various families with children of various ages, including special needs. Responsibilities have varied from house management to light housework or strictly child focus. All duties are fulfilled with child safety/development as a priority.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Most recently, I supplied services through a childcare agency named Spilt Milk Nannies in South Seattle, WA. Spilled Milk Nannies (SMN) is an occasional care service provider which requires flexible nannies to meet a variety of family needs. While there I was hired as a full-time seasonal Nanny for the Schober family. 3 girls, ages 4-7. Role included all that you can think of; light housework, cook, tutor, driver, entertainer, organizer, project executer, etc. very demanding, adventurous, fun, and fulfilling. They did offer a permanent position which was not a feasible option at the time. Under SMN, I served many families in addition to the Schober family with children of various ages ranging from infants to teens, including special needs. Started with SMN in March of 2019.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Love playing outside with the kids, mostly sport, maybe some tag. Most roles I enjoy doing is that of what the children want to do. Some kids like baking or doing arts and crafts and that’s fun too. If it’s safe and under the parental parameters, then I enjoy doing whatever the kids have a fun time doing.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a caregiver is so rewarding but also an enormous responsibility and I am grateful to continue having opportunities to be a part of a child’s development. Everything from their creativity, to playing outside, dancing, learning to read, and singing is so amazing and fun to be a part of. With that said safety is always my top priority as well as ensuring that their development needs are met. I’m experienced, responsible, mature, fun, loving, and reliable. I’m a person your whole family can count on to provide consistent great care for your children.

My experience with special needs children...

Most of the children with special needs I have cared for are those with Autism and ADD/ADHD. I’ve only taken care of one child that was most delicate. Further information can be given in person. All my experiences have thus far been great. This is partially due to the necessary information provided by parents. They let me know how to interact with their child as it varies from child to child. Including their needs and wants, triggers and any other information that they think might be helpful in providing a smooth experience for their child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My most memorable moment was earlier this year when taking care of 3 girls, ages 4-7. It was on a rainy day, and we decided to have an impromptu dance party. The girls got dressed up in their costume outfits and played with their child's make-up. Yes, I let them do my makeup as well. We put the music on the speakers, and we just danced and laughed. It was so much fun that they wouldn't stop talking about it days later. What made it so memorable is the fact that the girls let me know that they had such an enjoyable time with me. I also got to see their interaction with each other and use their creativity.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Fort Worth, TX: Kayla S.

Hey there! I am a single mom with a degree in early childhood education currently pursuing my bachelors in the same. I love working with children and have previously only worked in preschools but find that misses the chance to really connect with kids when you have over 15 kids per class. I love helping children develop and grow. The majority of a child's development and personality come from their early childhood years. I would love the opportunity to be in your little ones life!
Euralaye R. - Seeking Work in Fort Worth

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Fort Worth, TX: Euralaye R.

Yrs ago a car ran a stop sign and hit my vehicle. I was injured and was forced to retire early. However, I needed to remain active for physical reasons and since I am a mom and recalled how active my children were, I became a nanny. My kiddos and I played games, read books, worked puzzles, and enjoyed fun activities at home, drove and oftentimes walked to parks, drove to the zoo and walked around. Anything safe., fun, active while learning at the same time.I am a self-published author of a book of poetry and a graduate from Toastmasters International and won best speaker awards in every category multiple times. However, watching and slightly assisting a "little person" take his/her first step is more rewarding to me than any personal accomplishment. Although I might have assisted, they only know that their first step was successful although it was only one step and a fall. Before long, they are standing and preparing for the next step.. Unknowingly, they are teaching me.
