A little bit about me

I am a 20 year old girl who currently is a service manager at a golf cart company but I am looking to get into something that I am extremely passionate about and something that will make me happy. I grew up in a large family and i am the oldest out of my siblings and cousins so I was always the designated baby sitter. I worked in the YMCA during high school but once I graduated I wanted a more “big girl job” but none of the jobs have satisfied me since leaving the YMCA. I love kids and I want to create a big family of my own one day. I know it is very hard to get child care for your children these days so I want to help out a family in need and I want to create a safe environment for everyone. I am very outgoing and loving and I can help out with dinner, cleaning, meal preps, laundry, etc. Anything you need from me I will gladly do.

I worked at the YMCA for a couple years working with kids pre-school-5th grade

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing with them whether it be dolls, cars, dinosaurs, taking them to the park or bike rides. I grew up in a big family and I am the oldest so playing with the little ones is my favorite thing to do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching the kids learn and grow everyday and being able to be apart of their fun and careless childhood. My favorite thing is being able to be there for the children no matter the circumstances and having them know that I am always there to support them and keep them safe is the most important. Creating a safe and fun environment for the kids is very important to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have toddler twin cousins who have autism. One of them functions really well and he can talk well but the other one is nonverbal and throws tantrums a lot but when my aunt would have to work I had to be the one to watch them and although it was a lot of work it taught me a lot about how to interact with kids who have autism.
