More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I helped my mom with her in home daycare growing up. In high school I took child development classes and taught preschoolers for 3 years. After I graduated I worked at the YMCA for 2 1/2 years with school age children before moving to a early childhood center where I currently work as a 3 year old assistant who subs for the infants and toddlers teachers occasionally.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going outdoors and exploring nature. I think play is a very important part of child development, so all activities I do involves natural play. I enjoy doing crafts and cooking. I also love dramatic play with children, it is fun to see what their little minds can come up with!

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with a few children who have diagnosed autism and who were nonverbal. Other than that I do not have much experience but I am willing to learn!

Hearing the thoughts and ideas of children. One kid looked at the Cresent moon and went "look! The moon looks like a toenail!"
